How/Why did you start CrossFit?
I was just going through the motions at the gym and needed something more. I always thought that I had to be at some level of fitness in order to start CrossFit but I never seemed to get there. Eventually, I just signed up and I've loved it ever since!
Take us back to your first WOD... what was it, and how did it feel?
I don't remember what it was, but I'm pretty sure it involved pull ups and squats both of which I sucked at.
There are days for everyone when you just don’t want to work out. How do you handle those?
I just go ... 'cause I know I'll be upset if I don't.
Please share with us your favorite CrossFit / CFT moments.
I would say it's just the relationships and friends that I've gained while being here. But there have been multiple times when we had some friendly competition going on in the 5:30pm class - I'm looking at you, Scott and Mackey.
Any advice for people just getting started?
Wherever you are in your fitness, just start. I always thought that I had to be like the guys in the CrossFit games in order to start the program.
