I was born and raised in Whitehouse Texas. I currently live in Tyler with my wife Julie and my two daughters Ella (7) and Ava (5). I grew up playing many sports but spent most of my time on the baseball field.
I was a three year letterman at Whitehouse High School in baseball and went on to Dodge City Community College to play baseball on an athletic scholarship. I graduated Dodge City with an Associates of Arts Degree and went on to Hardin Simmons University in Abilene to continue playing and to get my Bachelor of Business Administration.
in the beginning, it was the ideal supplement to my marathon training. I was sick and tired of the 55-60 mile weeks and felt like I was withering away.
I started CrossFit and instantly fell in love with the constantly changing workouts as well as the difficulty of the movements and workouts. I couldn’t wait to get back in the Box day in and day out to try and master some of the movements.
I love to see that light bulb moment in someone’s face when they finally
get a movement they have been working on or they hit a PR. I really enjoy the coaching staff we have at CFT. Wwe push each other to make each other better and to always keep learning.
