Wow! Change is in the air. I can see it in your faces! You guys are eager.
I also see fear, anxiety and self doubt. Trust me this is normal. When we are faced with any form of change in our life it gets HARD. But, as Socrates so eloquently stated, "Change is law.." It's inevitable. There is nothing we can do or say that will ever change that! What we CAN change is OUR perception of change. It's all perspective!
Your brain is a powerful muscle that you can train just like your abs, your glutes or your triceps. Your brain is the most powerful muscle you have, however it is the most underutilized. Why is that? Because you are fearful of embracing change. We are asking you to do something hard, something different, something outside of your comfort zone.;)
We anticipated many reactions to this change but I am blown away by what I saw today. I saw you engaged. I saw spunk and heart! I saw people swallow their pride and scale the WOD.
Our hope in during this challenge is that you give your best and embrace this change. I hope that you will learn to see that at the end of the day you are more than just a number on a scale.You are more than a star by your name.
